DEMOCRATIC STRUCTURE OF OUR ASSOCIATION.
WE SEEK TO UPHOLD THE AUTHORITY OF THE DELEGATE ASSEMBLY, THE VOICE OF MEMBERSHIP, AS THE ULTIMATE AUTHORITY IN PROTECTING THE BYLAWS ESTABLISHED AT OUR INCORPORATION
We are a growing volunteer coalition of concerned NASW members.

Coalition of Concerned Members of NASW
On July 6, we learned that the national board voted to change our articles of incorporation to grant them sole authority over all decisions for our association!
Six people now control for over 130,000 members. That's one non-voting CEO and a quorum of five. We are told that it is NOT for us to decide the future path of our association.
The delegate assembly's power HAS BEEN removed, the members' vote HAS BEEN removed and chapter boards no longer have any power. They are now merely advisory.
